My question is simple: why is "douchebag" an insult?

Douchebags perform a valuable service for all of us-- they vanquish stinky pussies. Without douchebags in the world, heterosexual males and homosexual females might have a huge problem with licking a fish-stenched vagina. Anal sex really would have to be fudgepacking if it weren't for the miracle of douchebags.

Thus, calling someone a "douchebag" should be about as offensive as calling someone a "cop," "fireman," or a "plumber," because each help prevent otherwise-stinky situations.

So, why is it still insulting? Why are any words insulting? The answer is simple: people let themselves be insulted by them. Let's examine this a little further.
